ABOUT GLEBE NORTH FC
Glebe North FC was founded in 1944 started off as street league side and won it in the first season. This left them ambitious and decided to enter the Drogheda and District summer league in 1945, and won it with full points.
Co founders Frank Carton, Dessie McCann, Sean Reid, Peter Murray, Peter Costello, Phill Barnett, Francis Guildea, Hugh Reilly, Tommy Raymond.
At the start of 1945-46 Glebe North became member of the Dublin Athletic Union League where stayed for close to 20 years.
The club joined the Leister Senior League in the 1963-64 season winning the second division and the Polikoff cupin the first season.

The club have won the Senior Division twice: in the 1966-67 season and again in 1985-86 in a play-off with Bluebell and Pegasus.
